Virginia Condominium Act

Code of Virginia that governs condominium associations within the Commonwealth.

Virginia Non-Stock Corporation Act

Code of Virginia that governs non-stock corporations (i.e. common interest community associations).

Virginia POA Act

Code of Virginia that governs property owners’ associations within the Commonwealth.

Virginia Resale Disclosure Act

Code of Virginia that governs resale disclosures within the Commonwealth.

CAI Website

Community Associations Institute is a membership organization that provides information, education, and resources to homeowner volunteers who governor communities and the professionals who support them.

Virginia Common Interest Community Board

Board that regulates common interest managers and certain employees of licensed management firms.

Effective July 1, 2023, as a result of passed legislation during the 2023 General Assembly Session of Senate Bill 1222 and House Bill 2235, all resale certificates and disclosure packets are now collectively prepared in accordance to the Virginia Resale Disclosure Act (§55.1-2307, et seq.).
